EcoBoat Adventure Tour Enjoy an up close encounter with one of Australia’s largest colonies of fur seals and see these amazing marine mammals in their natural environment. Experience the fun and adventure of a high speed 90 minute boat ride along Phillip Island’s spectacular coastline before pulling in to a protected inlet to see the seals and their antics. See the Nobbies sea-cave, shaped by centuries of pounding wave action, and visible only from the water. There’s enough time for a stop at the Cat Bay National Surfing Reserve, famous for its longboard break, before your experienced captain puts the EcoBoat through its paces with a bit of wave-running. Your tour concludes as you pull in at the jetty in plenty of time to make it to the sunset viewing at the Penguin Parade.

We’ll collect you and bring you to Arteara, a valley that is at the crossroads between the green north and the arid south, a contrast that has led to a striking landscape. There will be time to check out the picturesque village of Fataga, including the beautiful whitewashed church.  Then it’s time for the highlight of the day. You will ride a dromedary (single-humped) camel for about three-quarters of an hour across palm groves. Camels were introduced to the Canaries 600 years ago by the Castilians during their conquest of the islands. Nowadays, there are more than 150 on Gran Canaria.  Following the ride we’ll settle down for a snack consisting of a sandwich and a juice. After lunch, well take a scenic route back to the coast to drop you back to your hotel.
