Re-imagining the classic tale for 21st Century, 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea takes viewers on the journey of teenager Ned as he plunges into a world of adventure aboard the submarine Nautilus commanded by the mysterious Captain Nemo. The thrilling 3D adventure ride features cues for popular 4D effects such as water splashes, wind blasts and bubbles. 3D fish swim out of the screen, bubbles fill the auditorium and viewers will feel the deck of the Nautilus jolt and shake when it is attacked by a giant squid.   Penguin Ice Adventure - NOW OPEN Our brand new under-water Ice Adventure has arrived! Come face-to-face with a colony of Gentoo Penguins and adventure in to the rarely seen Antarctic landscape. You can marvel at the cheeky antics of our new feathered friends, as they dive beneath the freezing waters and play in their icy home. With indoor temperatures of 8 degrees Celsius you’ll need to wrap up warm, although the playful penguins will feel right at home. Hear the unmistakable trumpeting sound of the Gentoo and learn about their quirky antics. Touch the iced environment that the penguins call home and give your best imitations of a penguin waddle. Our penguins, which are classified as near-threatened on the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) Red List, will travel half the way around the world to play and swim in their brand new, specially built home.

This is a sacred mountain, as for over a thousand years there was a Christian pilgrimage. There’s much to know about Sliabh League, like the monks who went to Iceland or the eagle and the baby! The scenery all the way up to the Cliffs is spectacular with views of the Atlantic and the Sligo Mountains out in the distance. You also have a great view overlooking Donegal Bay. As you reach the summit you are rewarded with the most beautiful sight of the walk - the cliff face of Bunglas (which simply means "End of Cliff"). See the ruins of a watchtower (as per video below) at the end of Carrigan Head on your journey up also. This watchtower was constructed to defend the northwest coast during the early 19th century when there was the threat of a Napoleonic attack. We then pass through a lovely village called Carrick, before reaching a small harbour village called Teelin. Teelin has a famous Pub called "The Rusty Mackerel" where we stop for a rest. The name of the rusty mackerel came about because way back when there was no refrigeration, they would salt the mackerel in wooden barrels and this way they would keep for months on end without losing their freshness. One of these barrels can be seen still standing outside the front of the pub! Visit historic Donegal Town - home of the O'Donnell Clan and Donegal Castle, and is situated just on the edge of Donegal Bay. The centre of town, known locally as 'The Diamond', is surrounded by bustling cafes, shops, and bars. Stop at Killybegs Harbour which has long been acknowledged as Ireland’s leading fishing port, and a stroll along the pier gives a chance to admire the fishing boats, net menders, and perhaps even catch a glimpse of the seals. As you walk, discover the bohemian Barcelona of the late 19th and early 20th centuries where Picasso lived during his youth through anecdotes about his friendships and the events that influenced his life and artistic career. This route will take you to such unique places as the Quatre Gats, the beer hall and cabaret on Carrer Montsió; the friezes on the facade of the Col·legi d'Arquitectes, Picasso's only open-air artwork; and the Llotja de Mar, the art school where he studied. You'll also walk along carrer Avinyó, a source of inspiration for Picasso from which his famous painting "Les Demoiselles d'Avignon" takes its name. The tour ends with a guided tour of the Museu Picasso, a key museum if you want to understand and find out about the artist's formative years and development. The museum houses more than 4,000 works which make up the world's most complete collection dating from Picasso's early years.
