Multi award winning Ocean Rafting visits the “Wild Side” of the Whitsunday Islands, the uninhabited islands with beautiful natural scenery brimming with marine, bird and animal life. There are two exciting tour options, the Northern Exposure and Southern Lights. Each Ocean Rafting day offers three days in one, including an exhilarating ride to Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet, pristine snorkelling reefs and guided Whitsunday Island National Parks walks. Ocean Rafting offers the ultimate access to the stunning and iconic Hill Inlet beach and special snorkel sites at Hook Island and Border Island ensure a memorable underwater experience. The semi rigid inflatable vessels are super fast allowing guests to experience a fun ride, adventure and education amongst the natural beauty of the Whitsundays. 32 passengers at most allows for personal snorkelling lessons and the pleasure of a small group. A buffet style lunch is served at the beach with plenty of time to swim in the turquoise ocean or just relax on the silica white sand. Ocean Rafting has been operating since 1997 and is proud to have special permits allowing its vessels to visit protected areas in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. The Skipper and Eco Host will ensure guests have a fun filled adventure and personalised service with snorkel lessons and a guided National Park walk in the Whitsunday Islands. Henry VIII's Great Hall The Great Hall is England’s greatest medieval hall and one of Britain’s oldest theatres. William Shakespeare’s company performed there in 1603-4. The exhibition includes paintings and interactive displays. The world famous Maze Test yourself and get enjoyably lost in 'the most famous Maze in the history of the world'. Tudor kitchens  Built to feed the Court of Henry VIII, the kitchens were expected to provide meals for 600 people twice a day. Her view of famous London landmarks is obscured by people and traffic, but a seagull draws her attention to the London Eye and her father takes her for an experience; finally she has an amazing view of the city. Colourful parties inside the capsule, time lapse of the London Eye day and night and a spectacular firework display all add up to an emotional and entertaining experience; the perfect prelude to an experience on he London Eye itself. Please remember that the boarding procedure for the London Eye takes 30 minutes so you will need to arrive at least 30 minutes before your reserved time. Please take this into consideration when choosing your time. We have timed allocations for every day of the year. You book online direct from our allocations and your booking is therefore immediately confirmed subject only to the authorisation of your credit card charge. If no suitable time is available, you will be given the option of a request booking which will be fulfilled as soon as we are able to get additional space - for which we check with London Eye Administration on a daily basis. The confirmed time of your request booking will be printed on your voucher together with details of how to get to the London Eye. You will need to exchange your voucher and join the boarding procedure at least 30 minutes before your confirmed time. The lighthouse stands 39 metres in height from ground level and 56 metres above sea level, shining out over the landscape for 48 kilometres. Margaret River Winery The first significant planting of vines in the region was in 1967, indulge in a wine tasting and discover why Margaret River is regarded as one of Australia’s greatest wine producing regions. The opening of the musée du quai Branly, in June 2006, helped legiti­ mize long misunderstood cultures and finally made them accessible to a wider public. 300,000 works and objects from Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas make up the collection of the museum, whose mission is to conserve, document and enrich.  As a resource of messages and potential connections between world cultures, the collection is a point of departure from which the museum has shaped its identity: that of a museum for the 21st Century with inno­vative architecture and museography, all in the heart of a major interna­tional capital. The musée du quai Branly is a museum that does not claim to teach from a position of authority; rather, it sets out to create bridges between cultures, while encouraging curiosity and attracting visitors from diffe­rent backgrounds with varied interests. Within the museum, diverse skills and perspectives create the ideal context for the collection, giving rise to cultural, artistic and scientific proposals, from different levels of interpretation and approaches, be it via temporary exhibitions, performing arts, lectures or conferences. The quality and renewal of this myriad of offerings depend upon the public making the museum their own and upon their desire to keep coming back.
