Everyone remembers where they were on September 11, 2001. An event that shook the world, the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center changed the path of recent history in a way we still see every day. Visit Ground Zero to gain a deeper understanding of 9/11, the affect it had on the city (and the world!) and the long struggle undergone in New York City to move forward from that day.  With an expert local guide, you’ll explore not just the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, but the areas and landmarks around the World Trade Center that featured so poignantly in news reports after the attacks. Traveling in small groups, you’ll visit St. Paul’s Chapel, where friends and families gathered to hear news of their loved ones, and where handmade prayers and memorials still lie.  At Brookfield Place (previously known as the World Financial Center) you’ll learn about the economic effects of the attack and the struggle to rebuild afterwards. You’ll visit the Eleven Tears Memorial, a touching and personal memorial, which commemorates the 11 American Express employees that died in 9/11. The Winter Garden is another must-see on Vesey Street. You may have missed it on your own, but with a local guide leading the way, you won’t miss a beat.  After that we’ll head for Ground Zero, to see the stunning 9/11 Memorial Pools, each one built in the footprint of one of the twin towers, and inscribed with the names of all those who perished in the attack. Your guide will take this time to give you a more personal account of the tragedy that unfolded here, taking you to the Fireman’s Memorial and the Survivor Tree to tell you the incredible stories of courage and loss that unfolded right where you stand.  The last stop on our tour is one we’ll let you manage on your own. The 9/11 Museum is a very well curated space, with artifacts salvaged from the event on display, alongside countless personal stories. It’s a very moving visit, best taken in at your own pace in silence. We still have one last perk though – we’ve pre-reserved your museum tickets, so you’ll skip long lines to gain immediate access. You will be welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine and seated at your private table (private table guaranteed when purchasing at least 2 tickets). The cruise will start with a view of illuminated Prague Castle and Charles Bridge while piano music plays. When you pass by the Rudolfinum, a delicious starter will be served. A professional chef has compiled the gourmet menu so you can combine individual courses as you wish. You can choose from 3 different meals for each course, and a vegetarian option is available upon prior booking. The menu also includes a selection of fine wines, aperitifs and non-alcoholic beverages. You can enjoy the main course surrounded by Prague's top sights – the National Theatre and Dancing House, both of which will be lit up and glowing in the night. You can learn about Prague's sights you pass by in the printed guide with a route map. The cruise will continue past Kampa Island to the old river locks. Here the cruise slows down and you will have enough time to choose a dessert and order a coffee or a digestif. After reaching Vyšehrad, the boat turns and heads back. On the way back to the dock you will pass by the Straka Academy, the Civic Swimming Pool and Prague Metronome above your head. At the end of the cruise you can enjoy the magnificent view of Prague's panorama at night once again before landing.

After meeting up with your local guide, we will make our way over to the River North Art District (RiNo) using a Denver-only rideshare company. RiNo is an achingly hip, up-and-coming neighborhood that boasts a serious number of creative businesses and fun start-ups, without a chain store in site.  Our first stop will be one of Denver’s newest and most popular distilleries. Serving an impressive array of flavored seasonal gins and exceptional vodka amongst other ‘spirited’ drinks, no detail is overlooked by this family-run establishment. We will enjoy the bar and terrace area (weather permitting) as we sip superb liquors made from top quality local grains and fruit. Next up it’s time to experience what Denver is famed for: its unbelievably good craft beer scene. We’ll make our way to our absolute favorite local brewery to sample a flight of beers. The large tanks inside may look ultra serious but don’t be fooled — this establishment may well be the most fun place in Denver to hang out on a summer evening and you’ll get to see why the locals love it so much.  After boozing on liquor and beer, we think it’s time to get some food into you! And not just any food will do — we are going to take you to a place that has become a magnet for foodies all over Denver, where we’ll enjoy some locally sourced gastro delights that will show you why Denver is gaining a strong reputation as a fabulous foodie hot spot.  But wait, we’re not done yet! A short walk after dinner will take us to a beloved local cidery, to try a uniquely dry style of cider. You will love the rare flavor profiles and interesting variations that this joint specialises in, so prepare to be wowed!  As we finish our rounds, you may find that you want to stay out and play and we wouldn’t blame you one bit, as RiNo is awesome! We can leave you to marinate longer and find your own way home (we’re always happy to advise on the best way to do so) or, if you decide to stick with us, we’ll drop you in an area where there’s plenty more to see, do and drink during the rest of your dynamite Denver night out.
