Der Einstellungsbereich der Fader lässt sich von +/- 6 db auf +/-12 db anpassen. Der Dynamikbereich liegt über 108 db. Der 231S hat HF gefilterte Ein- und Ausgänge, jeweils symmetrisch und asymmetrisch als XLR und Klinkenbuchsen. Der Ausgangspegel wird mit vier LED angezeigt.
