Be a part of history in the making as you explore the ins and outs of Kennedy Space Center on this out-of-this-world day tour. You’ll have access to restricted areas, walk under the massive Saturn V rocket and even meet and greet an astronaut from the Space Program! One of the many highlights of your day will be the Shuttle Launch Experience, a space simulator that gives you a taste of what the astronauts feel when they lift off. Upon arrival at the Kennedy Space Center, Gray Line tour escorts will accompany you into the visitor center complex, and then take you into the Astronaut Encounter theatre. Once there you will receive a short video presentation followed by a welcome meet and greet by an ASTRONAUT! The Astronaut will welcome the all Gray Line guests to the Kennedy Space Center and give them some hints and tips of ways to ensure they enjoy their day. This welcome from one of NASAs finest is a complimentary service and no refunds would apply if the Astronaut could not attend. It is simply a great value added benefit for guests.

From Edinburgh you will travel west, passing the imposing Stirling Castle, high on its volcanic rock, and on to a visit at Doune Castle* (which featured in the cult movie ‘Monty Python and the Holy Grail’). From there journey into the Highlands, past Loch Lubnaig and up through impressive Glen Ogle, a steep glen that stretches for 7 miles, stopping nearby for lunch and beautiful views of the surrounding scenery.  After lunch venture further into the Highlands, stopping to view one of the most photographed castles in Scotland, Kilchurn Castle, nestled on the banks of beautiful Loch Awe and stunningly framed by the surrounding mountains. You will then journey to Inveraray, a small quaint town built in the mid-18th century on the shore of Loch Fyne.  Here we have time to explore the town and pick up some Highland souvenirs or pay an optional visit to Inveraray Castle*, the historic home of the Duke of Argyll, chief of the Clan Campbell, which is set in large beautiful gardens overlooking Loch Fyne.  You then start your homeward journey, driving over the Arrochar Alps, an attractive range of mountains, with a brief pause near the top of the Rest and Be Thankful Pass. A little later we reach enchanting Loch Lomond, where you can stop at the pretty lochside village of Luss before returning to Edinburgh.  *OPTIONAL EXTRA. Proseguiremos nuestra ruta en 4×4 atravesando el bosque de la zona norte del espacio natural para más tarde recorrer la aldea del Rocío, su ermita y el observatorio de la SEO.  Tras descubrir este lugar nos adentraremos a pie en los palacios y senderos del Parque Nacional de Doñana junto al arroyo de La Rocina. Después de almorzar llegaremos a la playa para conocer el sistema dunar más grande de nuestro país. Al regresar y aprovechando el atardecer recorreremos el pinar de El Abalario una zona donde posiblemente podremos avistar alguno de los grandes mamíferos del Espacio Natural de Doñana.
