Mardi Gras parades would be nothing without the fantastical floats that line the parade route year after year. The hard work that goes into making these spectacles is what makes Mardi Gras in New Orleans the greatest show on Earth! Our knowledgeable guides take the mask off Mardi Gras with an all-access Mardi Gras tour, winding through the massive studio where these magnificent floats are built from the ground up. You’ll learn about the history of this unique and festive tradition and go beyond its reputation to get a deeper understanding of the real Mardi Gras. The whole family will love the experience of touring the space where our artisans create spectacular floats for over 40 parades each year. There are plenty of opportunities for photos in front of floats, with props, or wearing a traditional Mardi Gras costume on this New Orleans tour. This is an experience you will want to document, so don’t forget to bring your camera! A FREE shuttle is provided with ticket purchase, and has pick-ups at 20 convenient downtown locations. If you do not wish to use our complimentary shuttle, the closest parking is available in Lot J across from the Mardi Gras World entrance. Para explorar la ciudad hay disponibles dos rutas: La Ruta Roja que viaja a lo largo del International Drive desde los Premium Outlets hasta Sea World, el recorrido continúa por la parte sur del Iternational Drive y termina en los Premium Outlets. Hay 77 prácticos trolebuses que llegan aproximadamente cada 20 minutos. La Ruta Verde empieza en el distrito de negocios Major Boulevard, viaja a lo largo del Universal Boulevard hasta la parte sur del International Drive. Las ruinas romanas de la ciudad con mosaicos notables y Anfiteatro de Itálica se encuentran a menos de 9 kilómetros al norte de la ciudad, a las afueras de la localidad de Santiponce. Itálica fue la cuna de tres emperadores y uno de los asentamientos romanos más tempranos en España fundada en 206 aC. Se subió a una considerable importancia militar en la 3 ª siglos segundo y AD. A lo largo de la Edad Media, las ruinas fueron utilizados como una fuente de piedra para el Sevilla, pero afortunadamente el anfiteatro ha sobrevivido, aunque en estos días se desmorona peligrosamente. Más allá de esto son unos veinte mosaicos, incluyendo un excelente piso de color con los pájaros, Neptuno y las estaciones. During the summer months customers enter the pod from the open air boarding deck, overlooking the beach and the West Pier. Please note that the weather on the seafront can be changeable and, as the boarding deck is outdoors, customers should be prepared with wind or rain proof clothing. Pod flights depart every 30 minutes and each flight lasts approximately 25 minutes (including boarding and disembarking).   Afternoon Tea Enjoy sea-views whilst indulging in a delicious spread of sweet and savoury treats at the West Beach Bar & Kitchen. (situated in the BAi360 beach building) Each Afternoon Tea serves four finger sandwiches, two scones (one fruit and one plain) and an assortment of freshly made mini patisseries. You also receive a bottomless hot drink and can choose from a selection of Camellia’s teas, coffee or hot chocolate. Sandwich fillings are inspired by the seasons, and options include ham hock and wholegrain mustard, cheddar cheese and homemade chutney, free range egg mayo and even locally sourced smoked salmon and cream cheese. Available Monday – Sunday, with pod flights between 14:30 – 17:00. Limited availability, pre-booking is recommended.
