Durch die kugelförmige Richtcharakteristik muss auf keine exakte Ausrichtung der Mikrofonkapsel geachtet werden. Der Schall wird gleichmäßig aus allen Richtungen übertragen. Der biegsame Mikrofonarm ermöglicht die optimale Positionierung der Mikrofonkapsel. Ein Abtropfring am Mikrofonarm verhindert das Eindringen von Schweiß in die Kapsel und schützt das Mikrofon gegen Feuchtigkeit. Der elastische Nackenbügel sorgt für einen sicheren Halt und hohen Tragekomfort. Das AKG HC82 MD ist in den Farben Beige (hellbraun) und Cocoa (dunkelbraun) erhältlich.
