After we pick you up straight from the Mgarr Harbour, on both bus lines we'll take you to Xewkija, Bus Stop 2, one of the most picturesque villages in Gozo. Thanks to your high position on the open-top buses, you'll be able to see the incredible Rotunda of Xewkija from far away, which is also known as the Church of Saint John the Baptist, built in the late 17th century. If you fancy trying some of the local cuisine then hop-off at Bus Stop 3 to visit Savina Creativity at the Magro Food Village. The food in Gozo will make your taste buds go crazy! Or if you fancy a long walk, hop-off at Bus Stop 4 to complete the trail from Victoria all the way to Dwejra Heritage Park. The walk is about 13km so we recommend you buy a 48 hour bus ticket if you want to do this walk, just so you have enough time to explore other destinations too! At Bus Stop 5 you'll find Ta Dbiegi, a place rich with the Maltese culture, with an array of colours, and you'll discover some of the finest craft and glass shops. Hemisferic + Science Museum
L'Hemisfèric’s projection hall has three separate systems projecting onto a curved 900sq.m screen above more than 300 patrons. There’s an Imax dome, a 3D digital screen and digital full dome projections, often of an astronomical nature. Lie back and be transported to another dimension. All these dramatic features have earned nicknames such as the Eye of Knowledge and the Planetarium. The Principe Felipe Science Museum features a series of fascinating exhibits dedicated to themes such as climate change and human DNA. There is also a children’s area that studies aspects about natural habitats, pollution and outer space. The section on ‘magical chemistry’ is well worth checking out while there is an entire level devoted to great scientists. Sports fans will love the section devoted to the city’s most successful football club, Valencia CF, and the Marvel superheroes exhibit attracts young and old in equal measure. During the summer, from July 17 to August 31, there are special night-time shows from 8pm to midnight.
