The Ford DeLuxe models were introduced in 1938 to bridge the gap between the standard models and the luxury Lincoln range. The look of these cars were modernized with an upgrade in the grille and headlights; side grilles were removed and replaced with chrome strips. The engines were also revised and hydraulic brakes were a major advancement. 1937-1940 Ford’s automobiles were the most popular for hot rodding. A real head turner model.
